2025 Didn’t Make Sense While I Was In It

There were so many moments in 2025 where I found myself asking:

What is this all for?

Plans shifted.
Opportunities fizzled.
Some things grew but quietly.

From the outside, it may have looked slow.

From the inside, it felt confusing. Exhausting. Uncertain.

Letting go did not feel brave.

It felt necessary.

The Year of the Snake

I recently came across a post referring to 2025 as “The Year of the Snake” a season meant for shedding what no longer fits.

And honestly, that described my year perfectly.

At the time, it felt like:

• Things were not working
• I was outgrowing old ways of doing business
• I was releasing things I once clung to

But now, with perspective, I see what it really was.

A clearing.
A recalibration.
A quiet kind of clarity forming underneath the surface.

Not every year is meant to be loud.

Some years are meant to prepare you.

Not All Growth Is Visible

Not all growth is loud.

I am not forcing this year.
