The Easiest Way to Never Run Out of B-Roll Again
If you're trying to create content consistently, here's one thing I recommend every business owner do:
Start a B-roll album on your phone.
Every time you're working, meeting with clients, making coffee, packaging orders, or simply going about your day, capture a few short clips. You don't need a full production day. You just need a habit of collecting content as you go.
Over time, you'll build a library of footage that's ready whenever you need to create a Reel. Instead of scrambling to film something every time inspiration strikes, you'll already have plenty to work with.
One of the easiest ways to make that B-roll more engaging is by changing your camera angle every couple of seconds.
Those quick cuts naturally keep viewers' attention and increase watch time, which is exactly what platforms like Instagram want to see. The longer people stay engaged, the better chance your content has of reaching more people.
The good news is you don't need complicated equipment or elaborate setups to make this happen.
Simply film the same activity from multiple perspectives.
Try filming over your shoulder, directly in front of you, from the left or right side, from above, or at a diagonal angle. You can also change your location, switch between sitting and standing, or even film the same task on different days while wearing different outfits.
Suddenly, one simple task turns into several unique clips that can be mixed together to create a much more dynamic video.
The best content creators aren't always filming more.
They're filming smarter.
By capturing small moments throughout your day and giving yourself multiple angles to work with, content creation becomes faster, easier, and far less overwhelming.
And when creating content feels easier, consistency becomes a whole lot more achievable.
