You're making content way harder than it needs to be.

One of the biggest mistakes I see business owners make is believing every post has to be completely original. A brand-new idea. A fresh hook. A different angle every single time.

That kind of pressure doesn't make you more creative.

It usually makes you stop posting altogether.

Here's what most people forget: your audience isn't seeing every piece of content you publish, and even if they are, they need to hear the same message more than once before it truly sticks.

Research and years of marketing experience both point to the same idea. It often takes 7 to 20 touchpoints before someone is ready to take action.

That means your audience needs repetition.

Not because they're ignoring you, but because trust is built over time.

The businesses that grow aren't constantly chasing new ideas. They're consistently reinforcing the same core message from different angles.

That's why I encourage my clients to stop creating from scratch every time and start repurposing what already works.

Think about it this way.

If you wrote a caption that performed well, turn it into a talking head Reel.

If you created a carousel with great saves, film yourself explaining those same points with B-roll.

Take a blog post and break it into a carousel.

Turn one Reel into a static graphic with a stronger caption.

Use the same hook but tell the story differently.

You're not repeating yourself.

You're increasing the chances that the right person actually hears your message.

Because someone who missed your carousel might watch your Reel.

Someone who doesn't read captions might love your email.

Someone who ignored your post three months ago might be ready to buy today.

That's how content compounds.

The message stays the same.

The delivery changes.

And yes, you can absolutely repost content.

Most people won't even remember seeing it the first time.

But if reposting feels uncomfortable, remix it instead. Change the format, update the examples, expand on the idea, or tell the story from a different perspective while keeping the core message intact.

The goal isn't to constantly come up with something new.

The goal is to become known for something.

Because the brands people remember aren't the ones talking about a hundred different things.

They're the ones consistently reinforcing the same message until it becomes synonymous with their name.

So if you've been staring at a blank content calendar wondering what to post next, don't start from scratch.

Start with what already worked.

Refine it.

Repurpose it.

Repeat it.
